In a move towards greater transparency and inclusivity in the upcoming Assembly elections, the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) has introduced an online application system for candidate selection. State Congress President Rajesh Ram unveiled a QR code-enabled poster facilitating access to the digital application form at a press conference held at the party headquarters in Sadaqat Ashram, Patna.
Clear Criteria and Digital Screening for Candidate Selection
Addressing the media after releasing the poster, Rajesh Ram explained that the Congress party has formulated a defined criterion for the selection of candidates. Aspirants can now apply by scanning the QR code and filling out a digital form that captures key information, including adherence to party programs and initiatives.
Applications received will be thoroughly scrutinized based on performance indicators set by the party leadership. According to Ram, this process will ensure a merit-based selection system, giving equal opportunity to all aspirants.
