Senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday morning visited Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj, a day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted an 18-hour raid at Saurabh Bharadwaj’s residence. In a media interaction at Saurabh Bharadwaj’s residence, senior AAP leader and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, “ED conducted an 18-hour raid at Saurabh Bharadwaj’s home. They interrogated his family, searched the house, went through papers—but all of it was just a show. The ED’s only job now is to rescue the BJP from crises. Whenever questions are raised against Narendra Modi or Amit Shah, the ED appears on the scene and raids the homes of opposition leaders.” Pointing out to the raid’s connection to the ongoing controversy over the PM Modi’s educational qualifications, Manish Sisodia asserted, “The raid at Saurabh Bharadwaj’s house was carried out because, since Monday, questions have been raised across the country about PM Modi’s degree. The people of India are asking: is the PM’s degree real or fake, and why does he refuse to show it? The matter even reached the court, where the same question was asked. The entire nation knows the degree is fake. To divert attention, the BJP created a fake case and carried out a fake raid. ED is an expert in such fake raids and fake cases.”

He said the timing of the raid was deliberately chosen to push PM Modi’s degree scandal off the front pages. “The BJP wanted headlines to scream about an ED raid at Saurabh Bharadwaj’s home, rather than the truth about PM Modi’s fake degree,” he remarked. Manish Sisodia also recalled a tongue-in-cheek remark doing the rounds after the raid. “Someone jokingly said that the ED found a piece of paper at Saurabh Bharadwaj’s home that read: ‘The degree must be shown.’ But this is no joke—it is the heartfelt sentiment of the nation. The Prime Minister will have to show his degree, no matter how many raids or arrests are carried out.”Praising Saurabh Bharadwaj and his family for their resilience, the senior AAP leader said, “His entire family stood united through this ordeal. They remain firm in the fight against corruption and those destroying the country. In this battle to cleanse politics and save India from BJP’s ruinous path, every Aam Aadmi Party worker stands shoulder to shoulder with Saurabh Bharadwaj.”
