New Delhi, June 18-
The investigation into the alleged classroom construction scam in Delhi government schools has reached a critical stage. On Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at 37 locations linked to contractors and officials associated with the case, intensifying the ongoing probe.

BJP Alleges Attempt to Suppress the Scam

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, in a press statement, said the classroom scam is a well-established case. He claimed that the complaint was filed long ago with the Lokayukta and the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB). However, under pressure from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, officials from the Education and Public Works Departments allegedly avoided sharing critical information with the investigating agencies.

Sisodia and Jain Are the Key Accused
Sachdeva alleged that former Delhi ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are the prime accused in the scam. Even while in power, he said, both leaders refused to cooperate with the investigation and continue to evade appearances before probe agencies.

They Can’t Escape the Law Anymore
Taking a firm stance, Sachdeva remarked, “Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain must now understand that no matter what they do, the law has caught up with them, and they will soon end up in jail.”

While BJP hailed the ED’s action as a step toward accountability, there has been no official response from the Aam Aadmi Party as of now.
