BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda met shopkeepers in Delhi’s Amar Colony along with Virendra Sachdeva and discussed the Next Generation GST Reform over tea. Shopkeepers and consumers said in unison – Thank you, Modi Ji! “I have requested them to ensure that the tax benefits provided reach the consumers, and that Indian-made products are sold in their shops.” — Jagat Prakash Nadda Following the implementation of the Next Generation GST Reform across the country by the government of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, along with Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, met shopkeepers in Amar Colony, New Delhi, and discussed the reform over tea. Cloth merchants, office bearers of the pharmaceutical traders’ association, and other business owners of Amar Colony expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through Shri J. P. Nadda and Shri Virendra Sachdeva and congratulated them.

Present on the occasion were BJP National Media Head and Member of Parliament Shri Anil Baluni, local MLA Neeraj Basoya, municipal councillors Shri Sharad Kapoor and Rajpal, New Delhi District BJP President Ravindra Chaudhary, BJP spokespersons Shri Zafar Islam and Yasir Jilani, along with other party workers and shopkeepers. Speaking to the media after meeting with shopkeepers, BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said, “Today I met with the shopkeepers of New Delhi and conveyed the message of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. I congratulated all shopkeepers on the implementation of the Next Generation GST Reform, which comes into effect nationwide today.” Nadda said that not only have shopkeepers welcomed the decision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, but they have also acknowledged the benefits it Nadda urged the shopkeepers to ensure that the tax relief reaches the consumers, and to promote the sale of indigenous products in their stores—products that carry the sweat of Indian workers and the fragrance of Indian soil. He said the shopkeepers have welcomed this appeal.

Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that after the implementation of the Next Generation GST Reform, there was a visible sense of happiness on the faces of the shopkeepers they met today.
